Every Trace Was Once a Gesture is a visual exploration of how time leaves quiet marks on the world around us; in surfaces, in structures, in places we often overlook. The book is made up of photographs, scans, and layered compositions collected. Moments that might only exist once, never to return in the same form again. A shift of light. Sand blown by the wind. Others are broken apart, reassembled, stretched, rearranged. Cracks deepen, edges soften, colors shift, yet the original trace always stays there. At the top of each page runs a line, uniquely made for that specific image. It mirrors the rhythm or tension of that moment, like a timestamp. At the end of the book, an index page reveals the original images each piece is built from, the starting traces. . I follow what fades, what shifts, and what quietly stays. Because I find something lasting in the act of staying. And each time I look, I find another trace
