Phantom Limb

• Visual Identity

• Creative Direction

An ongoing collaboration with Phantom Limb, an independent label and artist collective in Brighton, UK, known for an eclectic roster across experimental, electronic, ambient and boundary pushing sounds. We develop visual identities, album covers and artwork systems for a range of the label's artists, from cover design and typography to full album identity systems. We work closely with each musician, so the work reflects their character and the label's collaborative spirit. Each visual language has to feel cohesive, distinctive and true to the music, from contemplative ambient records to dynamic, textured rhythmic ones, and stay flexible enough to grow across releases.
