DEKA 2 [2026]

This year DEKA returned in its second edition, continuing the idea of a newspaper made for and with the people at the Estonian Academy of Arts. DEKA 2 collects voices, fragments, and ongoing discussions across the design faculty. It sits in a field that is constantly shifting between education, practice, and the wider societal questions design engages with. DEKA is not only about design as a discipline, but about its reach: how it shapes ways of thinking, working, and understanding the world. It moves between student work, teaching practices, and the wider field around them, less as a fixed overview and more as a snapshot of something constantly in motion.
